ROMANIAN TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES: June 2012

Romanian Village Museum "Dimitrei Gusti" is located in northern Bucharest, on the shore of Lake Herastrau, a beautiful green area of the city. Just 10 km from the Otopeni Airport, the village museum can be an introduction of foreign tourists in ethnographic history and architecture of rural Romania.

PERSONAL MESSAGE

I am a petrochemical engineer. I worked in Romania, Libya and now in Switzerland. At the same time I am passionate about the mountains. I am especially attracted by the landscapes of Romania, being a country of wild mountains, still untouched by mass tourism organization.

I intend to publicize the areas that I personally visited over the years in order to attract foreign tourists who rarely have the opportunity to travel in the wilderness. Routes covered are still safe, marked by experienced climbers. For those interested I will hold discussions on this blog and intentionally to organize the first groups of expedition in 2013.

Because job and considering the limited time that I have, I announced early next expedition. As a meeting point will be in Bucharest Otopeni airport. Of the organization (transport, accommodation) I will deal with two close friends personally attracted to mountains like me.
